The cross in palmistry is one of the most common symbols, but also the most misinterpreted. It can be a sign of obstacle, tension, or on the contrary a mark of protection. Everything depends on where it's located.
Rarity: Present on most palms. Its position makes it a sign to read, or ignore.
On the mounts
On the mount of Jupiter: a happy marriage or a union that structures life.
On the mount of Saturn (under the middle finger): the famous 'Saturn cross', a warning of caution, not to dramatize.
On the mount of Apollo: an obstacle in creative or public recognition.
On the mount of Mercury: read with other signs, may indicate a business challenge.
The mystic cross
When the cross appears at the center of the quadrangle (the space between the heart line and the head line), it's called the 'mystic cross'. It's a sign traditionally associated with a strong interest in the invisible, occult, or spiritual.
Many people drawn to palmistry itself carry this cross.
On a line
A cross touching the heart line can signal a memorable heartbreak.
A cross cutting the head line: a period of intellectual questioning or difficult decision.
A cross on the life line: don't panic. It indicates an event at the corresponding age, not an end.
The cross is never to be taken alone. Read in its context, it nuances, it never condemns.
